Immersion Day! C is for Collierville

This year we were immersed in information about the town we live in, Collierville. We learned sooo many things about our city. We heard several people talk about the history of Collierville, we also did some great line dancing. We also learned about train art and sang train songs. We had a lot of fun. Field Trip Bummer!!!

We were very upset that our field trip was cancelled. We will however get our day of fun on Nov. 5th. So mark your calendars for the Botanic Gardens.

Under the Deep Blue Sea...

We have learned so very much about the oceans in the last 2 weeks. We made our own oceans to show all we know. Dive on in!

Welcome Back!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Fall Break! I am so pleased with the progress made by all the children this first nine weeks. Here are a couple of reminders for the next couple of weeks.

1. Deadline for purchasing pictures is Oct. 19th.
2. We will be going to the Botanic gardens on Oct. 22.
3. Immersion Day is Oct. 26th.
4. This week the homework will be on the newsletter.
5. If you have not sent a shoe box please do so ASAP.
6. I need green pipe cleaners for an upcoming project.
7. Please make sure your child has good headphones.
